Mollies are extremely beautiful fish, and they come in a huge variety of unique colors and fin shapes. If given the right conditions, they will be able to live for 3-4 years and produce thousands of babies during their lifetime.

Mollies are vey easy going fish. They are very calm and they get along well with others. Molly is basically a shoaling fish, so because of this they need to be in the presence of others to feel comfortable and happy. You must keep a group of at least four fish with your molly.


What temperature do mollies like?

Ideal water temperature for a molly fish is between 70-82 °F and the preferred natural habitat for molly fish is tropical freshwater.


How often should I change water in molly fish tank?

Water changes in molly tank is very important.

Every two to four weeks You must do a 25% water change. Also ensure that you are stirring the gravel or you can either use a gravel cleaner when you are changing the water. 

Changing water will keep the water and tank clean, it will also help to keep your molly fish healthy and happy.

Keep The Tank Clean

You should clean the tank on regular basis to avoid any waste inside it, which can cause bad water quality. Also its important to check the water parameters regularly and make sure that the water is not too warm or too cold for your mollies. Also maintain the pH level of water.

Water changes on regular basis are very important for maintaining a healthy tank. Because It helps remove pollutants and dirt from the tank and recharge oxygen levels.

 

Ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates

It is very important to Check Ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates levels in the water for maintaining a healthy tank for your mollies. If these levels are too high, it can cause serious harm to your mollies and your mollies can die.
